PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Freshman A.J. Reeves had 15 points and Providence survived a long field-goal drought in the second half to hold off Ocean State rival Rhode Island 59-50 on Saturday. Isaiah Jackson added 13 points and nine rebounds and Nate Watson finished with 12 points and seven rebounds as the Friars earned their third straight victory.
