MONROE - A 12-year-old Monroe boy was flown to Westchester Medical Center Friday morning with suspected head injuries and broken bones after a car accidentally hit him as he crossed Route 17M on his bicycle, Monroe Police Chief David Conklin said.The boy was struck by a westbound vehicle about 9:25 a.m near Goose Pond Plaza, a strip of shops on the eastbound side of Route 17M.
