WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- Woonsocket firefighters early Thursday morning put out a blaze at a multi-family home on Pond Street that reportedly was caused by improperly disposed fireworks.Deputy Fire Chief Roger Perreault said the fire was called in just after 3 a.m. Thursday. When firefighters arrived, a corner of the house was ablaze from the bottom of the house to the roof line.
