Visitors to Royal Oak will be paying more to park their vehicles.The City Commission on Monday night approved recommended parking rate hikes from the city's Downtown Development Authority, which oversees the city's parking policies.Part of the DDA's recommendation, based on a study by Rich & Associates, calls for parking rates to be lower at the outlying areas of the downtown and highest in the center of the district.
