Last 3 Colorado students eliminated from Scripps National Spelling Bee finals

All three Coloradans who advanced to Thursday's finals in the Scripps National Spelling Bee have been eliminated. Eight Colorado students in all were eliminated, including Rohit V. Paradkar, 13, a seventh-grade student from Discovery Canyon Campus School. The competition began Tuesday in Oxon Hill, Md. The three Coloradans who made it to the finals were Jacob Faulk, 14, from Slavens K-8 School in Denver; Cameron Keith, 12, from Mackintosh Academy in Boulder; and Lauren Guo, 12, from Wayne Carle Middle School in Westminster.
