Allegations of staff misconduct during a dress code protest at Holmes Middle School two weeks ago seem to be "completely unfounded and a product of rumoring and gossiping," Principal Rob Utter said Wednesday. Accusations had surfaced about female students who wore short shorts, tank tops and clothing with holes being called derogatory names by staff, such as "hos" and "sluts." Utter said video surveillance footage shows none of that happening - or any other inappropriate behavior by school employees. "One young lady made a remark to a parent, but on camera none of that was happening," Utter said.
