PITTSBURGH (AP) — The San Diego Padres squeezed out a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Freddy Galvis drove in the go-ahead run in a four-run ninth inning with San Diego's second successful squeeze bunt of the game, and the Padres rallied to beat the Pirates 8-5 Sunday for their third win of the four-game series. Pittsburgh had a 5-4 lead into ninth when Jose Pirela and Christian Villaneuva singled off Felipe Vazquez (2-1). Franchy Cordero pinch ran for Villaneuva and pinch-hitter Cory Spangenberg fouled off a pair of bunts, then fouled off four straight pitches.Read more on NewsOK.com
