'No refusal' DUI policy picks up speed as police obtain warrants for blood tests

Since a new "no refusal" policy has been in place, traffic stops have resulted in felony charges for at least two drivers in McHenry County who allegedly refused to let medical staff draw their blood. Carpentersville resident Jeremy Gatenby was charged with obstruction of justice after he didn't let medical staff test two vials of his blood following a DUI stop, charging records show.
