Train service restored after 'police activity' clears at Ogilvie Transportation Center

Train service has been restored after police activity at Ogilvie Transportation Center brought the station's transport schedule to a standstill. Affected Union Pacific North, Union Pacific West and Union Pacific Northwest trains were restored shortly after noon Wednesday, according to tweets from Metra sent at 12:18 p.m. Trains could not enter or leave Ogilvie Transportation Center Wednesday morning due to "police activity," Metra officials said in tweets sent at 10:53 a.m.
