Matt Harvey was never going to be the answer to any of the Texas Rangers' problems, and I can only imagine what the 9-27 Cincinnati Reds thought they were doing by trading for him Tuesday. Let's stand back and applaud them, anyway.I don't think Rangers general manager Jon Daniels is overly consumed with acquiring players from the New York Mets, the team he grew up cheering in Queens, but if he had any inkling that Harvey could be another in a long line of reclamation projects for this team, that mindset is gone now.The Reds traded a damaged catcher (Devin Mesoraco) for a damaged pitcher, and that was the end of it.
