Could Adam Warlock Appear in Avengers 4?

Full spoilers follow for Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers: Infinity War draws a lot of inspiration from classic Marvel storylines like The Infinity Gauntlet, but there's one major character that didn't make the transition. Despite being a big player in The Infinity Gauntlet, Adam Warlock sat out the events of Infinity War.
