Gov. Henry McMaster spoke to about 125 Lancaster business and civic leaders Thursday about sustaining the state’s economic growth, cutting income taxes and reducing government regulations. McMaster, who is running for his first full term as governor this November, spoke during a joint meeting of Lancaster’s two Rotary clubs at USC Lancaster’s Arnold Special Events Room. He said much of South Carolina’s success in drawing manufacturing jobs is a result of collaboration and partnerships between the state’s schools and industry.
