Victor Cardona has jumped into this brave new world of celebrating the past by building a multi-media website that capitalizes on the trending nexus of smartphones, podcasts and geolocation. He's done it with a little help from his friends, all dyed-in-the-wool local history buffs. An intellectual property lawyer by profession, as an avocation Cardona has created HEAR about HERE, an open-source site that offers three-minute podcasts about a particular historic site or location where something notable in Albany's history occurred.
