After running his mobile-shower ministry for two years, Kevin Lilly has teamed up with Cotton Pate, the preacher at Kershaw’s Frontline Biker Church, on a new way to help the homeless. “I told him we needed socks,” Lilly said. “The majority of people on the streets are in need of socks…year-round.” Pate posted on Facebook about the sock drive in mid-December, and 10 local churches immediately came together to gather socks.
