Toby Keith wraps 2017 with 'Bus Songs' parked 11 straight weeks atop Billboard's Comedy Albums chart

Brandy McDonnell Oklahoma country music star Toby Keith took on the moniker of funnyman in 2017, with the record-breaking success of "The Bus Songs," an album of the just-for-fun cuts he had been slipping into shows and onto records throughout his career. Outliers in his otherwise radio chart-topping catalog, these humorous and often self-deprecating tracks fueled "The Bus Songs, " to the top of the Billboard's Comedy Albums chart, where it spent 11 consecutive weeks - by far a record for a country artist, according to a news release. Interest in the project was fueled by the hit video for "Wacky Tobaccy," a clip co-starring country music legend and marijuana enthusiast Willie Nelson that has collected millions of views.
