CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The state says that thousands of customers generated close to $40,000 in the first day of KENO 603 sales. Customers bought over 5,800 tickets at nearly 40 locations statewide with the first drawings held Friday. Players won about $22,000 in prizes. KENO 603 is on sale daily at licensed establishments, with drawings taking place every five minutes throughout a portion of the day. New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre said growing sales will provide critical funding for education. A New Hampshire law passed this summer established KENO 603 as a revenue source to fund full-day kindergarten.
