STAMFORD-Fifty Stamford police sergeants this week received training on hate crimes from two Jewish groups. Anti-Defamation League National Civil Rights Counsel Melissa Garlick spoke to the fact the damage done by hate crimes cannot be measured solely in terms of physical injury or dollars and cents.
