Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is telling his members to be prepared to work straight into the Thanksgiving break.A similar warning last week didn’t pan out, as the Senate left Washington late Thursday after clearing its budget resolution. The chamber usually adjourns for the week mid-afternoon on Thursdays and returns Monday evening. But McConnell told GOP senators in meetings earlier this week that the chamber very well could stay in session the weekend before the week of Thanksgiving, as well as the week of the holiday, according to two senior Republican sources.
