Colorado Parks moves fish from Lonetree Reservoir to other public waters

Colorado Parks and Wildlife fish biologists have moved 3,200 fish out of Lonetree Reservoir and into nearby public fishing waters over the past month. Ben Swigle, fishery biologist, and Jason Duff, assistant fishery biologist, removed more than 100 fish on Friday from 15 nets they have set in the waters southwest of Loveland and transported those fish, including black crappie and yellow perch, to River’s Edge Natural Area in Loveland.
