Grafton Democrat files complaint for action aiding GOP in county executive race

GRAFTON – A complaint has been filed with the state Commission on Judicial Conduct by a town Democrat angered by county Republican maneuvers to bolster Assemblyman Steven McLaughlin's campaign for county executive.David Buckley, a town Democratic committeeman, filed the complaint against former Town Justice Pierce Hoyt, a Republican, saying that political influence led to his resignation from the town bench.Buckley also is working with other residents to find a candidate for a write-in campaign to thwart Republican efforts to fill the vacated judgeship.
