HPE plans to slash 5,000 jobs, report says

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is planning to cut at least 5,000 jobs, or 10 percent of its global workforce, Bloomberg reported Thursday afternoon, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the impending layoffs. The report did not say which offices would be affected by the cuts, but said layoffs are expected both in the United States and at HPE's overseas operations, and would include management-level personnel.
