A man was killed Sunday in an early morning shooting in Denver’s Congress Park neighborhood, police said. The shooting happened near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street, the Denver Police Department said around 2 a.m. Sunday. Aurora officers fatally shot an armed 18-year-old during a Saturday night hostage situation and shootout at a Heather Ridge apartment complex, police said.
