A suspended Commerce Township attorney with a history of providing poor service has been sentenced to 18 months probation and fined for false pretenses and accepting pay for legal services he didn't perform.The Livingston Daily reports that David Andrew Monroe was hired by the owner of a heating and cooling company to represent him in a breach of contract lawsuit, but that he filed no paperwork or finished legal services he was paid to do.
