MIAMI — Hurricane Oscar formed Saturday off the coast of the Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said. It characterized the storm as “tiny.”
The government of the Bahamas has issued a hurricane warning for the Turks and Caicos Islands and the southeastern Bahamas. The government of Cuba has issued a hurricane watch for the provinces of Guantanamo, Holguin, and Las Tunas.
The storm’s maximum sustained winds were clocked at 80 mph (130 kph) with higher gusts.

Aspen Park, CO — 3 inches at 7 a.m. MDT
Aspen Springs, CO — 0.5 inch at 7 a.m. MDT
Blue Valley, CO — 1.9 inches at 7 a.m. MDT
Cimarron Canyon Sta, CO — 2 inches at 8 a.m.
C-470 is open again near the highway’s junction with U. S. 6 after a vehicle crash closed westbound lanes, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The agency announced the crash on social media at 6:45 a.m. Saturday and said drivers should expect delays.
CDOT’s statewide road conditions map indicated the roadway was once again open to traffic as of 10:08 a.m.
