U.S. Highway 50 is closed in both directions 13 miles west of Cañon City due to a fatal crash involving a semi truck and a sedan, Colorado State Patrol said. The driver of the sedan was killed in the crash, which occurred at about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. Hazmat crews are cleaning a fuel spill from the semi truck, troopers say.
