About 8:45 p.m. Friday, Aurora officers responded to reports of a shooting at a business near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Helena Street, according to a news release from the police department. The intersection is home to a liquor store, a grocery store and multiple fast-food restaurants and is close to the Whispering Pines apartments. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds, according to the release.
