A Macomb County judge disqualified herself from presiding over an acrimonious legal dispute between county Clerk Karen Spranger and county officials.Circuit Judge Kathryn Viviano said it was a "close call" but decided to recuse herself from the case in which Spranger sued the county, and the county and county Board of Commissioners are seeking to remove her from office through a counter lawsuit.
