Mayor Martin J. Walsh, city officials and members of the Hub’s Dominican community kicked off Boston’s weekend-long Dominican Festival yesterday with the raising of the Dominican flag over City Hall Plaza.“This is one of the best weekends in our city and I want to thank you all for making it possible,” Walsh said while holding a miniature Dominican flag.
