RIDGEFIELD - Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes after a fallen tree and burning electrical wires have forced emergency workers to close North Salem Road. Traffic in the area is reported to be extremely heavy as a result of the road closure and the nearby closure of North Street previously scheduled for construction work.
