DANBURY — Multiple people are injured after a plane crashed about a mile from Danbury Airport Sunday morning, police confirmed. Danbury police are arriving at Miry Brook Road near the Dog Park where the plane crashed around 10:30 a.m., Lt. Mike Sturdevant said. Mayor Mark Boughton said on Twitter that three people were injured and taken to Danbury Hospital.
