NEW MILFORD - Emergency crews are responding to a car that fell into the Housatonic River Monday morning. While there is no indication that the car was occupied at the time, members of the local fire department dive team have been called to the scene if they are needed. Several emergency crews including an ambulance and several police cruisers have already arrived. The incident occurred on River Road near the intersection with Rooster Tail Hollow.
