Convicted bank robber accused of being lookout in Springdale heist

STAMFORD — A convicted bank robber and city employee has been accused of being the lookout during two Springdale heists earlier this year, police said. Spero Moschos, 35, of Knox Road, was charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery and is being held in lieu of a $150,000 court appearance bond. According to Boccuzzi’s arrest affidavit, he told police Moschos was a close friend and mentor to him.
