Daily Journal TUPELO – A Saltillo woman was sentenced to five years in prison and must repay the money she stole from a vulnerable adult in her care. Dorothy Whaley, 66, was sentenced last week to 10 years in prison, with five suspended, by Senior Circuit Court Judge Thomas J. Gardner. She also was ordered to pay $1,300 in costs and fines, plus full restitution of $162,000 to the victim. The defendant and her daughter, April Whaley, were arrested on Feb.
