The boy, who police did not identify because of his age, was charged with first degree assault, carrying a revolver with a permit, charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, and first-degree reckless endangerment, Officer Sean Boeger of the Stamford Police Major Crimes Unit said. Police arrested the boy early Thursday afternoon after a executing a warrant search of his home seeking the gun, Boeger said. Because the gunman was still 14-years-old when the shooting occurred prosecutors will not seek to try him as an adult, Boeger said. The incident occurred around 10 p.m.
