STAMFORD-A woman who claimed to have run over a pipe bomb in her car and brought the device into Stamford police headquarters causing a needless scare at the end of November, was charged with shoplifting Wednesday. Police stopped the vehicle being driven by Anna Jack, 30, who locked the doors of her car, refusing the police officer’s commands to step out. The device Jack brought into Stamford police headquarters early in the morning of Nov 30, turned out to be some construction debris and not explosives.
