Vine announced on Twitter today that the current Vine app will shut down on January 17 and convert to an altered version called Vine Camera.With Vine Camera, you will still be able to create looping six-second videos and upload them to Twitter. There will also be a "Follow On Twitter" feature to help creators retain their followers once Vine is officially shut down.Update - the Vine app will become the Vine Camera on Jan 17.
