STAMFORD — Emergency crews rushed to North Stamford Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into a pond. The accident took place about 2 p.m. on Rock Rimmon Road. The driver escaped uninjured before the car sank, according to the Stamford Fire Department. The Lexus SUV has a New York license plate.
