Narcotics and Organized Crime squad officers received word on the street that two cars were on their way from New York to the La Quinta Hotel on Harvard Avenue to deliver marijuana and cocaine, Capt. Richard Conklin said. The driver of that car, Jason Vega, 31, of Gilbert Place, Port Chester, New York, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, because he is a convicted felon, having a weapon in a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of narcotics with intent to sell and conspiracy counts on the gun theft and marijuana and narcotics dealing charges.
