North Jersey reservoirs continue to sink as drought conditions worsen

Drought conditions in New Jersey are getting worse and our reservoirs are getting lower and lower. Officials are saying that the Morris Lake reservoir is at the lowest level it’s been in nine years: 54 inches below the spillway. The reservoir in Newton, Sussex County, provides drinking water for 8,000.
