More than 1,600 customers were affected by a power outage in Ferndale Tuesday, Oct. 25, beginning shortly before 9 a.m.The DTE outage map reported an equipment problem was to blame for the outage, between 8 Mile and 9 Mile Road from Coolidge Highway to Livernois Street.
