DANBURY — Newtown teacher Jason Adams, who was arrested after bringing a gun to school in April, received a special form of probation in Superior Court Thursday after recounting the threatening phone calls he received from conspiracy theorists after the Sandy Hook massacre at the school in 2012. Adams’ attorney, John Maxwell, told court officials during a hearing Thursday that Adams has purchased the gun and received a permit to carry the weapon after receiving dozens of threatening phone calls and messages through social media from conspiracy theorists claiming the shooting never occurred.
