Expect temperatures to steadily cool down through this weekend. The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted a high of 84 degrees Thursday to be followed by a high of 79 degrees Friday, a high of 68 degrees Saturday and a high of 61 degrees Sunday. The weather service has announced a fire weather watch for Friday from noon until 8 p.m., a day described as "breezy" with winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour in the afternoon. "Even though the temperatures might be a few degrees cooler, the humidity is going to be lower and the winds will be stronger," said Eric Petersen, a weather service meteorologist.
