JACKSON, Ga. — Law enforcement officials in central Georgia are looking for a man they say shot and wounded a Jackson police officer. Jackson Police Chief James Morgan tells local media that Officer Sherry Hall was doing a routine patrol early Tuesday when she saw a man sitting on the side of the road. Hall went to confront the man and he became aggressive and shot her.
