An Augusta man told deputies he was robbed Friday morning of a gold rope chain valued at $2,000 and $70 in cash when a man displaying a knife got into his vehicle on Central Avenue. The victim, 48, told authorities he was getting out of his SUV about 9 a.m. at 1905 Central Avenue when he was approached by a man possibly in his 30s who showed him the knife and got into the car.
