The Human Race is coming to Jacksonville, offering a fundraising opportunity to area nonprofit organizations, schools, civic and religious groups. The 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, 111 Busch Drive. Check-in and registration runs from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., and costs $40 for 5K timed runners and free for walkers, runners or those on skates, their fee supported by donations from friends supporting their favorite cause.
