Increasing wind causing scattered power outages

There are scattered power outages Monday morning caused by fallen trees and branches downed by strong wind from post tropical cyclone Hermine. Other towns included Norwalk with 82; Stamford, 48; Newtown with 24; Seymour. 14; Redding and Darien both have six customers without power. Power outages are expected to increase late today with winds increasing to between 17 and 22 mph this afternoon with gusts as high as 32 mph. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for the shoreline of Connecticut from Milford to Stonington. The National Weather Service says there could be localized moderate coastal flooding into tonight along the shoreline in Fairfield County.
