Augusta man accused of stealing from former employer denied bond

Bond was denied Friday for an Augusta man accused of stealing nearly $5,000 of food, liquor and cigars. Jesse Williams, 54, is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary. On Friday in Richmond County Superior Court, Assistant District Attorney Jared Williams, no relation, said that Williams entered the Partridge Inn in July and helped himself to cases of food, beer, expensive wines and cigars.
