Augusta man convicted of misdemeanor vehicular homicide in bicyclist's death

An Augusta man who killed a bicyclist just before dawn on May 15, 2013, was acquitted Friday of felony vehicular homicide charges. Judge J. David Roper found evidence that Christopher Provost only committed misdemeanor vehicular homicide when he struck 42-year-old Dennis Skillman on the Mike Padgett Highway just north of Tobacco Road.
