Just as my husband, Brad, promised, Fishing Creek, part of the north branch of the Susquehanna River in Benton, Pa., was beautiful. The June sun reflected off a section of the calm, glassy creek, making it sparkle, and lighted up patches of the forest's leaves, turning them lime green. After finishing an early-morning fly-fishing lesson on land, my instructor and guide for the day, also named Brad and in his late 40s, had me wading knee-deep fishing for rainbow trout.
