ARLINGTON -- For the first time since Thanksgiving Day, Tony Romo played in a football game. The franchise quarterback was on the AT&T Stadium field Friday night for two series of the Cowboys' second preseason game.Romo attempted five passes, completing four for 49 yards and a 107.5 passer rating against the Miami Dolphins.The first series was filled with penalties and lasted only five plays.Romo found his groove on the second series, completing all three of his passes (two to Jason Witten and one to Dez Bryant), leading the Cowboys on a 6-play, 72-yard scoring drive.
